This scheme is intended to ensure the physical well being of the weavers/allied workers engaged in Handloom cloth production. This scheme proposes to conduct medical camps including ophthalmic requirements in the 52 Handloom circles of district twice a year and proposes to grant an amount of 2000/- per weaver once in 5 years, as spectacle allowance based on their eligibility.
