The Scheme aims at attracting found unemployed to the sector, so as to make them sustainable as successful weavers. The beneficiaries should be in the 18-40 age groups with Primary education. The beneficiaries are to be identified by Kudumba Sree Mission. The scheme aims to ensure the retention of these young weavers in the sector, at least for 5 years.

- 2 steps training conducting
- Initial on job training will be conducted for 3 months at identified places (unused or under sheds/building of Co-operative societies under DICs, buildings/sheds of LSG’s, or own arrangements by Kudumbasree /participants).
