Handloom Mark Scheme was introduced to easily distinguish authentic Hand loom products from Power loom products. Those who receive Handloom mark registration after 2010-11 financial year can apply for reimbursement of Registration fees and 75% of cost of labels purchased.

The beneficieries are Hantex, Hanveev and Primary Co-operative Societies who receives Handloom Mark registration certificate from Textiles Committee.
How to apply
Those who got Handloom Mark Registration can apply for reimbursement of Registration fees and 75% of the cost of labels so purchased. The application in the prescribed format along with copy of Handloom Mark registration Certificate has to be submitted to the General Manager, District Industries Centre. The General Manager after verifying the eligibility can recommend the application to the Director of Handloom & Textiles. Hanveev can apply through General Manager, District Industries Centre, Kannur and Hantex can apply through General Manager, District Industries Centre, Thiruvananthapuram.
Criteria
Hantex, Hanveev and Primary Co-operative Societies who got registration on or after 2010 are eligible for re-imbursement.
The application in the prescribed format along with a copy of the registration certificate issued by Textiles committee (copy of cash receipt) copy of resolution passed in the meeting, number of products after taking Handloom mark registration must be enclosed with the application.
